OOPS

So I was way off. It is now January and I am finishing up some songs. I'm seriously finishing this demo album. Let me explain:

This fall was horrible. I was overwhelmed with class and work and also a breakup. On the flip side, I suppose that just motivated me to be more creative now... Not true. Actually, I haven't felt creative at all until recently. I feel happy again, but a lot of things about how the past played out continue to make me uneasy. I think the lyrics to the newer songs might reflect this - because one way or another - when I'm writing - it just seems to come out. I don't even realize I'm thinking about it, then whoa! suddenly I'm reflecting on something important. We'll see what happens.

In fact, not all of the tracks I listed earlier are going to make the cut. I still anticipate the length will be the same. It will be done this month! More on that soon.

This Demo EP will be BOTR's first release. While only 4 tracks are listed, there are several other songs in the works that may also appear on the album. In the end, I expect a modest 6 or 7 song EP to result to kick off this music project. The album will be finished by late September. I anticipate that various songs from this creation will initially appear on WPGU 107.1FM here in Champaign this fall, and hopefully it will be music to find kind ears in the music industry.
